Durban Mutton curry bunny chow
Ingredients
1kg backleg cut into curry pieces.
4 Potatoes
1 sliced onion.
2 tomatoes sliced
2 tablespoon Kashmiri masala
1 teaspoon jeera powder
1 teaspoon dhania powder
1 teaspoon tumeric powder Salt
2 cinamonsticks bayleaf
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
RECIPE
Heat oil and add onions, cinnamon sticks, and bay leaf until the ingredients brown lightly. Add ginger, garlic, masala, and dry powders. Stir well, add tomato, and cook till its dissolved. Add meat, salt and curry leaf and let it cook for 30 minutes. Add potatoes and 1 cup of water. Let it cook for another 30 minutes then garnish with coriander. Cut a portion of your unsliced bread in quarters or halves. Gently remove the soft part of the bread, making a hole. Spoon curry into it and enjoy. Best served with a mango pickle or carrot salad.
